WHY DO PEOPLE TAKE/MAKE PHOTOGRAPHS?
I think people take/make photographs to capture something that is aethentucally pleasing or visually stimulating to them and/or something they want to remember, like a memory or something they may not come across again. They want to have a proper physical memory of something which is their photographs. people may also take photographs to capture things other people may not be able to ever see or witness so that person is doing it for them and sharing the moment with them; creating images for social causes, to share. I also believe that photographs are taking/made as a way of communicating with other people (magazines/newspapers) and also as a way to express themselves and their emotions, with out having to speak any words. I also think photographs are made to sell something/to advertise e.g. clothes/makeup or shoes which links to peoples needs and wants so it has that social aspect. One of my favorite fashion photographers is Terry Richardson because he presents fashion in a bold, colorful and fun way. Thats why he takes photographs to presents these fashion items in a way they would attract and sell.

WHY IS PHOTOGRAPHY IMPORTANT?
I believe that photography is a really important part of our society as it allows ways of emotions and communication and different perspectives to be shown in a visual way. I think its always really important memory wise, as photography is a physical thing that can be spread and shown from person to person, around families and old/new generations (its a major part of our learning process, on how to see things). I think photography is important because it allows us to understand each other. Much can be shown through a photograph. Photography can also be presented in a cultural way which lets people see the different places and parts of the world, that not everyone can witness.

WHAT SKILLS DO YOU NEED TO BE A GOOD PHOTOGRAPHER?
I feel like photography is a subjective thing so its not easy to say what makes a "good" photographer. I don't believe being a well-known photographer makes you a good photographer either. I recon if you enjoy and are proud of your work then it suits you, you are your own "good photographer", if you are able to portray, for example, your ideas or your creativity side then you are an artist, you are able to express the uniqueness that only you know you have in yourself. Therefore I believe that everyones their own "good photographer".
HOW MANY DIFFERENT KINDS OF PHOTOGRAPHER CAN YOU THINK OF?
- URBAN/INDUSTRIAL (Emphasizing urban environments)
- FILM
- EXPERIMENTAL
- CANDID
- ABSTRACT
- SCENIC (Landscape/Cityscape)
HOW DOES PHOTOGRAPHY HELP US SEE THE WORLD?
I think that photography helps everyone see the world differently because photography allows people to see the world through different lens and perspectives. It lets people capture all sorts of different things, all around the world, which people go on to learn from. Photography lets you learn about all sorts of different things. It lets you learn new things about different people, what they like and what you possible share (could like to photograph/like the same things). Photography also allows people to grow and take all different types of life paths. Photography and photos inspire people and helps them use their imagination because photography comes in all shapes and sizes and so do people and thats how we relate to it right? Photography helps us see the world through a lens of color and inspiration, it helps us all to understand that little bit more.
CAN YOU ALWAYS TRUST PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES?
HELL NO, because not all photographs are presented in the first state they were in when they were taken. photographs can easily be photoshopped, especially in advertisement and magazines; where the images are altered and changed to presents something completely different and false, which I would say links to the society we live in. One big manipulation. The majority of people have that Desire for "perfection" and thats what people want to fulfill (not all) but most, so they change and they "make it better" so that it fills up those desires people/society so desperately have set in place. Its also very easy to change an imagine through the tiniest things e.g by just changing it to black and white (THATS NOT THE ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHY), its a complete new one. So no you can not always trust photographs. Most people do love experimenting with photoshop, I love doing so myself but although the image looks great doesn't suggest thats its natural state. Disclaimer: photographs that you can are down to you, whatever you make of them, although some can be manipulative, does not mean they aren't nice or even beautiful; just means its not the original.
ORIGINAL EDITIED
PHOTOGRAPHY AND VISUAL ART
SIMILARITIES:
DIFFERANCES:
SIMILARITIES:
- You are able to express and show different thoughts and emotions through the work you produce.
- Both allow you to present/convey a message, enable you to communicate through a visual perspective.
- You can present the type of person you are
- They can be relatable to other people not just to the artists.
DIFFERANCES:
- Different tools are needed to create different types of art/photography.
- Both have a different way of visualizing things and different ways of portraying prospectives. e.g some like to paint and some like to photograph it.

WHEN IS IT NOT OK TO TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS?
Thats the thing with photography, I mean of course theres so many not ok times to take a picture e.g. when someones of the toilet or when someones in pain/struggling; but do we really know when its a bad time to take a photograph. Everyones different and people may like certain things others may not like (like being photographed by a stranger but the photographer doesn't know this so could take a picture without this knowledge or that persons going through a bad time and simply doesn't want to be photographed by a stranger), it all works in a way that you have to be carful to not be that person to take a photo at the wrong time. I believe there is a balance between when it is, and when its not ok to take a photograph and when it is ok.

WHEN DO YOU KNOW WHEN YOU'VE MADE A GOOD PHOTOGRAPH?
Personally, I think my good photographs are the ones which I'm most proud about and the ones that legit excite me and make me want to show them off. A good photograph may be good to you but not to others but if its a photograph that make you happy and makes you feel like "wow I did that" then its a good photograph. Each photograph someone takes, its theres so however the emotional and physically feel about it depends whether or not its a good photograph + also if you take pictures of things other people may not enjoy viewing does necessarily mean its not a good photograph, thats why I am finding it so hard right now to answer thing question.

ARE PHOTOGRAPHERS ARTISTS?
YES YES YES YES because, we make art through a lens and through the photographs we take.

WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO SEE/TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS?
Anywhere is a good place to take a photograph because the image and beauty it contains doesn't change or become any less beautiful or interesting due to the location its placed in. In fact, majority of the time the location or background of the image can make the image and be the reason its beautiful.

WHAT FRUSTRATES YOU ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHY?
I would say the only thing about photography that frustrates me is when I think/visualize something in my head and its doesn't even exist in real life or I can't find the right place or people to create the image because I feel like the image then won't contain my uniqueness but then again its sometimes a good thing because it can let me visualize something better which is possible and the results are just as good.
